After a LONG ROAD traveled (and long is probably an understatement), I made it. Hold up, did you just say you made it? Yup, I sure did. FINALLY, I present to you the brand new AJAXXX.COM! What started out as a project over two years ago culminated into a HUGE undertaking. I took down the old site over six months ago and rehauled it into the newness that is before you. I remember when I told myself this would take a month HAHA. It’s been nothing short of eventful, and I’m really happy that I made it. Is it okay to let out a sigh of relief now?

So with the site now live as can be, I wanted to do something where I talk about HOW I created the site. There was A LOT of work involved in this, and it probably took me the last two years (with the last six months being the most intense). I’ll talk about the planning behind it, the designing, the coding, the problems I encountered, and tying it all together. If anything, I hope that I can help other graphic/web designers with their projects too. I’m all about building…so let’s build.

Okay, so let’s take a trip back into time. I’d say about 2-3 years ago, I decided that I wanted to redo the site. I mean, from top to bottom, I wanted to overhaul the entire site and start fresh. I kept getting comments from friends about things they didn’t like about the site, and there were lots of issues that I had with the site too. I also wanted the new site to incorporate more of my Indian side, but in a creative way…nothing corny, nothing too gimmicky. I wanted to represent right. So, it would have to be about more about fonts and paisley designs – I’d have to dig DEEPER. That probably challenged me the most, but that’s a good thing , right?

What is the deal my peoples? I mean really, what is goin’ on! As you can imagine, I’m excited. Actually, excited would be an understatement. Finally, after talking trash for months and months and months (shoot, even years if you’ve been keeping up with me), the new website is FINALLY here. FINALLY, the work that I’ve been doing for so long has come to fruition. FINALLY, I’m able to share with you the project that I’ve spent so much time on. It’s a beautiful feeling, I’m telling you.

So, for those loyalists that have been checking for me throughout the years, thank you and welcome back. And for those that’re new to the site, thank you too…and I hope I can continue to see you. The Opinions Column was once the place where I talked all the trash that I wanted to, rambled on about whatever, spoke my mind about what’s goin’ on in my life, got introspective about the happenings around me, and just opened up. Well, nothing has changed. This is still the spot where I will talk about anything and everything, whether it be music, movies, females (uh oh), or whatever else. This is the spot where you can get into my head.
