I’ve always been a strong advocate of traveling. Each trip I take opens up my mind to new possibilities, new ideas, and new people. Within every culture that you’re introduced to, you change your own personal outlook about things. While traveling within the US is always fun, it’s these international trips I take that really change who I am. And this past month, I traveled to Switzerland. What can I say, I’m going global!

What is uppppppppp my peoples! Welcome one and all to the September 2014 Ajaxxx.com Opinions Column. Yes, yes, I know…I’m extremely late with this post. For those that’re new to the site, this is the place on my website where I talk about what’s going on in my life on both a personal and professional level…also known as, my place to ramble. If you’re returning to the site, welcome back! And with the formalities now a thing of the past, let’s talk about these travels.

So yes, as I write this, I’m in Switzerland. Craziness, right? It’s still new to me, although I did visit last year and got to see a lot too. I’ve done SOME exploring, but definitely not enough. Looking ahead, I’m planning on taking some additional trips including Germany, Italy, and even the UK. Speaking of which…

I’m planning on visiting the UK to do some recording! Yup, I’m gonna get back in the lab in England where I’ll be recording several tracks for an upcoming project. I’m excited! While I’m still working out the details with the songs and everything, it’s definitely going down. Like I said, we going global!

As much as I’m enjoying myself so far here, i do miss my home. I miss America. I miss being able to read the labels in the grocery store. I miss everyone talking to me in English. I miss the familiarity of it all. I’ll be here for a few months but I’m sure I’ll be back before I know it.
