“Everyone just wait now, so much on my plate now…”
– Drake on “Furthest Thing

Ever feel like you’re in over your head? If so, then we can relate.

Whatuppppp world? What’s going on? Welcome to the October 2013 Opinions Column. Apologies on the delay, it’s been one of those months. For those that’re new to the site, this is where you can get to find out wsup on a deeper level. For those that’re returning, welcome back y’all! Glad to have you join me again. The last few months have been super busy and I’m about to tell you why.

So last month, I wrote about tackling tons of things at once. I titled last month’s Opinions Column “Full Steam Ahead“, where I explained that the best way to take on so many things is by embracing them. Well, that’s what I’m doing. However, I didn’t anticipate so much to be going on all at once. It’s been krazy lol. But rest assured, my head’s still above the water (for now).

Firstly, I’m over here planning a wedding. One of the first orders of business is to design a logo. I’ve been drawing different designs, messing with different looks with the software, and getting input from others. While designing is my thing, logos are always the most difficult thing to design. You have to execute on a simple level. With flyers, websites, and things like that, you’re dealing with more elements so it tends to be more forgiving. With logos, it’s like boom…all or nothing. Anyway, between that and the upcoming website that I’m gonna be designing, there’s a lot. And of course there’s all the other logistics too, which take time to work through.

Additionallyyyyyyyy (and I’m quite excited), I’m taking part in #drawlloween. So what exactly is that, you ask? Well, it’s this thing going on in social media where you draw one thing a day throughout the month of October. The catch? There’s a picture that tells you what you have to draw every month and everything is themed around Halloween. I’ve been talking trash for awhile now about how I wanted to get back into drawing and I thought this would be the PERFECT way to get back into the swing of things. Additionally, it’s gonna have me drawing stuff I’m not used to drawing, which would enhance my skills. So how am I doing so far? LoL I’m a few days behind. Life has shifted my priorities and I haven’t had the time to sit down and draw like I expected. Anyway, I’m playing catch up and it’s definitely keeping me busy.

And of course, there’s the music. I’m still writing, still figuring out how to get the mic back up, and still plotting a new video. While not many strides have been made in this arena, I’m planning something exciting for this year. Let’s see how it goes.

Anyway, I’m gonna make this Opinions Column short and sweet. Not cause I want to, but cause I have to! Lol. So much to do!

Thanks for reading y’all! Stay up, stay safe, and hold ya head! Ajaxxx signin out, PEACEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
