It’s really hard to believe that you’ve been gone for so long now. Today marks the anniversary of when I heard the news that shook my world. It feels like yesterday, doesn’t it? I still remember when Tim came over and told me everything. I didn’t even believe it at first. In fact, I refused to believe it. But here we are, years later, and it’s definitely a reality. I’m telling you, it’s still a trip…and I’d be lying if I said I was over everything.
For those that don’t know, Darling Dasilva was a girl I used to know that changed my life. That’s pretty vague, isn’t it ‘Jaxxx? Well, I’m not gonna’ get too much into it, simply because I don’t want to revisit all that. It was a trying time in my life. Instead, I just wanted to take this opportunity to remember her. If you’ve heard the last song on my first mixtape, then you’d know. And if you haven’t, I encourage you to check it out. Maybe one day I’ll manage to do another song about it. Who knows?
Anyway, I didn’t expect to write all this, but I just wanted to take a moment out and tell you that I still missed you Darling. It’s been forever, but nothing has changed. RIP…
Hi Ajay, I don’t know if you will remember me but it’s Addis. I was one of Darling’s close friends. Darling, you, and myself would chat online most of the time. It’s weird but I decided to randomly google her name and your site was one of the first sites to come up. I understand how you feel though. After so many years it’s something that I still can’t completely get over. We were truly blessed to have her be a part of our lives. On another note, it’s great seeing that you pursued your music career and that everything is well with you. :]
Addis! Of course I remember you…wow, talk about a blast from the past. How’ve you been? Definitely miss those days when you, me, and Darling would chat online. We had some krazy memories, didn’t we? You’re right, we were really blessed to have her in our lives…
And thanks! The music (and life in general) is going welllllll.
