“Why stop when it doesn’t have to end?
It ain’t over ’til I say it’s over, enough when I say enough”
– Eminem on “Survival

It’s easy to get sidetracked in this krazy thing we call life. Whether it’s people pulling you in other directions, obligations you have to tend to, or simply distractions (because they’re all around us, c’mon), it’s really easy to lose focus. It happens to me way too much. However, just because you get off track doesn’t mean it’s a forever kinda thing. And of course, just as easy as it is to get off track, it’s easy to get back on too.

Before we dig too deep though, WELCOME! Welcome to the March 2017 Opinions Column. This is where I dig deep about what’s on my mind. Whether it’s where I’ve been, what I’m doing, or just random thoughts I have, you’ll hear them here. For those that’re returning, welcome back! And for new visitors, welcome as well. With my monthly-as-I-do-every-month-intro outta the way, let’s get right into it. Or should I say, back at it.

So at least for me, it seems that 2017 hasn’t been all I thought it’d be. Not yet at least. I told myself I’d have 4 videos, with the first one releasing in Q1. Well, we’re approaching the end of March now and I still don’t have a new single yet. I guess what I’m finding is that plans change. I’ve been out of pocket for several weeks this year due to traveling, plus I’ve been focusing on other things as well (like those mini videos that I’ve done too, which are posted below). I’m not even placing blame or anything on anyone, including me. I’m just adjusting…and that’s ok.

Another goal that I’ve had is to post weekly videos too. I’ve done 4 so far, which is far less than what I should’ve had by now. Again, chalk it up to lots of factors, but yeah it’s just something I haven’t been getting to. Anyway, that’s gonna change now.

I realized that what I needed to do was get organized. So I made a calendar of my schedule so I can aim towards something. Now, will I hit every deadline I set for myself? It’s unlikely, especially with the curveballs of life. But I’ll try. And if I do that, I’ll make a great deal of progress and I can look back like word this year was filled with accomplishments.

So here’s to getting back on track. It takes a concerted effort, organization, and simply the will within to do it. And with that said, I gotta go. I’m back on track.

Stay up, stay safe, and hold ya head. Ajaxxx signing out, peace!!!!!!!!!!!!
