You often hear people talk about how you gotta prove the haters wrong. “Don’t listen to them,” they say. “You got this.” I definitely agree with this. Don’t pay too much mind to those that aren’t doing it – they don’t know your struggle. In fact, if you gotta phase them out to keep moving, then do it. But instead of entertaining the haters, I’ve been thinking – what about your supporters?

So let’s talk about execution. For many of us, we’re guilty of being in our heads way too much. Instead of sharing our cool, creative ideas, we keep those ideas in our head. And if those concepts don’t materialize, then it will continue to remain an idea.

It feels like the older we get, the more difficult it is to keep that same level of motivation that we had when we were younger. There was a certain hunger that’s tough to recapture, especially with knowledge. Time comes at a premium and real life creeps up on us. It’s tough. So how then do you maintain the motivation?
