“Music is reflection of self”
– Eminem on “Sing for the Moment“
It’s important to reflect sometimes. With so much going on everyday life, it’s easy to get caught up and overlook the big picture. Whether it’s what’s going on today or what the week has in store, it’s common to be shortsighted at times (and that’s ok). What is difficult, though, is taking a step back and telling yourself: wow, look at all that there is to be grateful for. If you’re alive, breathing, and reading these, there’s a lot. So yes, indulge me as we take a moment to reflect.
Before I get too ahead of myself though, whatupy’all? What is going on??? Welcome to the Ajaxxx.com July 2018 Opinions Column. This is the place where I talk about anything and everything going on with me. For those that’re new to the site, welcome and glad to have you here. For those returning, welcome back!
As I do every July, I take a moment to reflect. I usually do this every year around my birthday, and this year is no different. It’s been awhile since I just took a step back and took it all in. We always get caught up in the busy-ness of everyday life, that we mayyy forget about all the big stuff.
After a successful debut in 2016, Deadpool returns with his much-awaited sequel. The film builds on the first one, combining action with lots of comedy. I enjoyed the fourth wall jokes, along with how Deadpool pokes fun of himself and his own movie.
So was it as good as the first one? Take a listen to my latest movie rap review to hear what I thought.
“If time was on my side, I’d still have none to waste”
– Eminem on “Believe“
There are times to pause and reflect, and then there are times to execute. While it’s important to plan, it’s also important to make moves. If you’re always in planning mode, you won’t get anything done. So yeah, this month, we’re talking about Go Time.
First off though, welcome. Welcome to the Ajaxxx.com Opinions Column. This is the place where I talk about what’s going on in my head and what’s been going on with me. If you’re new to the site, welcome. And if you’re returning, welcome BACK! With the introduction now complete, let’s talk about Go Time.
